On April 22, 2026, the groundbreaking ceremony for the Hongji Group Headquarters Building and Shanghai Manufacturing Center was successfully held at No. 2151 Kemao Road, Malu Town, Jiading District, Shanghai.
Distinguished attendees included Lu Tielong, Party Secretary of Malu Town, Jiading District; Ding Ye, Deputy Mayor of Malu Town; Xie Xiangjun, Founder and Chairman of Hongji Group; Gu Hongjiang, Chairman of Zhongtian Construction, the project contractor; honorary presidents of the Hunan Shaoyang Chamber of Commerce Li Dingli and Yang Tao; executive presidents Zhang Bin, Yang Dazhi, and Zeng Yanfei; as well as representatives from government authorities, business associations, partners, and employees of Hongji Group. All gathered to witness this significant milestone.

The new headquarters and Shanghai Manufacturing Center project is located in Malu Town, Jiading District, Shanghai. The site covers approximately an area of 3.26 acres, with a total gross floor area of 6.52 acres. The development includes an R&D and office building, production workshops, and supporting facilities.
With a total investment of approximately 70 million USD, the project will integrate headquarters operations, technology R&D, and high-end manufacturing upon completion. It will focus on strengthening capabilities in high-precision cold forging and deep drawing, while establishing a production base for high value-added, specialized fasteners. Guided by its vision of “Lean Operation, Precision Forming, Building a World-Class Provider of Cold Forging and Stamping Products and Solutions,” Hongji Group continues to advance toward higher-quality development.

At the beginning of the ceremony, Secretary Lu extended a warm welcome to all guests and highly commended Hongji Group’s 26-year development in Malu—from a single factory to a multinational manufacturing enterprise with operations across China, the United States, and Mexico. He noted that this new project represents a strategic milestone in Hongji’s transition toward becoming an innovation-driven enterprise and a world-class supplier. It is also a landmark project for Malu Town in promoting industrial upgrading and strengthening its high-end manufacturing cluster, injecting strong momentum into regional high-quality development. He further emphasized that Malu Town will continue to optimize the business environment and enhance service efficiency, fully supporting enterprise growth and working hand in hand with Hongji to build a new hub for high-end manufacturing, achieving a win-win outcome for both the enterprise and the region.
