The Tree Planting Activity held at Hongji(Suzhou)

On March 12, 2021, employees from each department of the head office and Jiading factory gathered at Hongji(Suzhou) Automotive Parts Co., Ltd, Taicang factory and held the tree planting activity with the theme of "Sowing hope, Setting sail for great cause".

Before the tree planting activity, employees visited the new factory, and were touched by the modern facilities and garden-like factory environment.

Steven Xie, the CEO of Hongji, mentioned that the company is a stage, and the employees are the main charaters. We are not only sowing the tree of hope for the "great cause" of the company, but also sowing the hope for our own career development. Steven also encouraged everyone to be a "long-term activist", to plan their own career according to their whole life, accumulating over time and not rushing for success. Planting trees is just a vivid expression of this saying. You may not see great changes in trees in a short time, but if the tree continues to grow, it will grow into a big tree after a long time.

Steven recalled that the young trees he planted in Jiading factory 18 years ago now have grown into big trees at about nine meters high. The trees’growth has also witnessed the development of the company.  Over the past 18 years, Hongji has developed from a single factory to a multinational enterprise with five factories across the Pacific Ocean.  Steven  made an appointment with employees, “Ten years later, let's get together to see how big the trees you planted today have grown, and to review whether your career has grown like these trees.”

After studying how to plant a tree, everyone was eager to have a try. Employees got their own departments' saplings, tree planting tools and tree cards one after another, and started the journey of tree planting.

With tacit cooperation and high enthusiasm, emoployees carefully carried out every step by supporting seedlings, cultivating soil, stepping on solid, and watering. Although the weather in early spring was still a little cold,  everyone’s enthusiasm runs high and thus the trees were planted soon. Employees hang tree signs on the saplings as an emotional bond.

With the expectation of Taicang new factory, we hope that when we get together again in 10 years' time, both the company's business and everyone's work achievements will be as vigorous and flourishing as trees!
